Motion design, 3D animation, and art design come together in this dynamic date announcement teaser for season 2. From storyboard to screen, we integrated and enhanced color language from the show: Jinx’s cobalt braids are sharply contrasted with her fuschia landscape as she walks a dangerous path of no return. Similarly, we doubled down on the show’s hyper-saturated profile by incorporating sharp, flat shading and rim lighting. A closer look reveals an easter egg for diehard fans of the franchise as Jinx’s shadow morphs into her sister’s at the foot of a bridge. Stark white type forewarns the coming battle in small, serif characters, as the scene fades into the horizon.
